Charity and Community Support
Rydon runs its own Charitable Trust and regularly makes contributions into this. Moneys in the trust are distributed to local community initiatives in the form of sponsorships, either for sport, education or culture as well as to selected local and national charities.
In 2009, the company formed a Staff Forum composed of representatives from across the organisation. One of the Staff Forum's initiatives has been to introduce a 'Preferred Charity' initiative which will allow staff to select one national and one local charity (to each main office) and to develop and promote activities which will support these charities over a year.
