To celebrate Rydon's first year involved in the CCS 'Company Registration' initiative, Ivor Goodsite visited the Maintenance Call Centre in Dartford.
Ivor arrived early in the morning and helped the operatives carry out the daily maintenance checks on the fleet of vans, and assisted in ensuring the vans were stocked ready for the day's work ahead.
Rydon Maintenance initially became involved in the ‘Company Registration' during the trials of the project, assisting the CCS in ‘fine tuning' the concept of the scheme and the measures in place. Following a 6 month trial, ‘Company Registration' was launched in July 2009, with Rydon as the founder member.
In the first year, over 300 companies registered with the scheme, with Rydon holding registration number 00001.
At the first Annual Awards Ceremony, eight awards were presented to companies demonstrating performance ‘Beyond Compliance', of which Rydon is proud to have collected three of the eight.
Ivor's visit to Dartford proved popular with the Operatives and Call Centre staff, with Ivor picking up a number of tips on Driver Safety and Customer Care.
Barrie Beckett, Director of the Dartford operation, said "At Dartford we are very proud of our achievements in the first year with the CCS and are looking to develop the relationship further and improve the service we provide to our clients and residents"
