On Sunday 13th November at our construction site for the Ongar War Memorial Medical Centre, our staff made it possible for the remembrance service that has been held there for many years to go ahead as usual.
The old Ongar War Memorial Hospital along with its memorial plaque was demolished earlier this year to allow new, state of the art, facilities to be built by South Essex PCT. Rydon Construction have incorporated a carved Blue Limestone wall into the design as a replacement for the memorial plaque and then made it available for the Remembrance Day Service this year, before the new buildings were completed.
The Service was a wonderful event with over 100 attendees, all of whom were very impressed by our efforts in making the ceremony such a success.
