Robert Bond
Chief Executive
Bob has over 35 years' experience in the construction, development and support services industry. He joined Rydon in 1992 and became a member of the Group Board in 2000. Bob took up his current position as Group Chief Executive in January 2006. Bob is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Paul Wright
Finance Director
Paul has been on the Group Board as Finance Director since 1998. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He has been a trustee of the Group pension scheme since 1990.
John Kitchin
Managing Director - Rydon Homes
John is the Managing Director of Rydon Homes, a position he took up in January 2006. John joined Rydon in 1986 as Legal Director and was appointed to the Group Board in 1998. John is a graduate in law (LLB) from University College, London.
Mark Mitchener
Managing Director - Rydon Construction
Mark joined Rydon as Construction Director in November 1999 having completed his studies at Sheffield City Polytechnic. He started his career as Planning Engineer at a contracting company, progressing over time through to construction management and onto the position of Construction Director at a major PLC developer. Mark has led the Regeneration business stream at Rydon and has also led on a number of initiatives linked to sustainability and employment for young people. Mark was promoted to the position of Managing Director in October 2010.
Jeff Henton
Managing Director - Rydon Maintenance
Jeff has worked in the industry since 1978 and has been at Rydon since 1984. He has an in depth and practical understanding across all of our activities, having worked through all site disciplines and subsequently senior management positions. He has considerable experience of refurbishment works, both occupied and vacant, across the Housing, Health and Education sectors, allied to an in depth knowledge of responsive repairs, particularly in the Health and Housing sectors. Jeff was promoted to Managing Director in October 2010. He is also an independent board member at Homes for Haringey, a London based ALMO.
David Hay
Managing Director - Ryhurst
David joined Rydon in April 2007 as Managing Director of Ryhurst. His career has seen him closely involved in PFI and PPP from within both private and public sectors. David has a BSc in Estate Management from Reading University, an MBA from Durham University and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Kingston University. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Aileen Ivanec
Group Legal Director & Head of Insurance
Aileen is Group Legal Director and heads up a department of five lawyers and their support staff. Aileen and her team are an integral part of the commercial and bidding teams across the business to ensure that projects meet all parties' requirements and to ensure effective delivery. She was appointed to the board in October 2011. Aileen has an LLB Hons and qualified as a solicitor in 1997.
Peter Robertson
Group Strategy and Business Development Director
Peter joined Rydon in 2002 following a long international career at two FTSE 100 companies. Peter oversees business strategy, business development, marketing and communications across the Group. In addition he is the director responsible for Management Systems at Rydon. He joined the board in October 2011. Peter has an MA from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
