Jeff has worked in the industry since 1978 and has been at Rydon since 1984. He has an in depth and practical understanding across all of our activities, having worked through all site disciplines and subsequently senior management positions within our Construction company, prior to moving to Rydon Maintenance. He has considerable experience of refurbishment works, both occupied and vacant, across the Housing, Health and Education sectors, allied to an in depth knowledge of responsive repairs, particularly in the Health and Housing sectors. Jeff was promoted to Managing Director in October 2010. He is also an independent board member at Homes for Haringey, a London based ALMO.
Ian's career and experience has spanned some 40 years in the construction, refurbishment and maintenance industry starting from electrician and progressing to Divisional Manager and, more recently, to Director level. Ian joined Rydon in March 2002 to head up a new branch office. This led to his taking responsibility for all the division’s housing PFIs. Ian also leads on Corporate Social Responsibility within the Maintenance division. He joined the Board of Directors in November 2006.
Barrie joined Rydon Maintenance in August 2006 to manage the Healthcare business. He joined us with a wealth of experience built up in the maintenance industry over the past 30 years. He started his career as an electrician and has diversified along the way and worked in most disciplines associated with hard facilities management.
Steve joined Rydon in 1985 as one of the Company's first ever management trainees and throughout his career development has gathered experience in a broad range of construction related disciplines. Prior to transferring to Maintenance in 2009, Steve spent over 10 years with Construction as a Contracts Manager delivering a variety of projects including traditionally built low rise social housing, multistorey timber and concrete framed buildings and the refurbishment of several high rise tower blocks with Residents in occupation. In addition to Site Management he is also responsible for Resident Liaison.Steve was appointed to the Maintenance Board in October 2010.
Richard is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor by profession, graduating in 1976. He spent the early years of his career with John Laing Construction, Wates Construction and JM Jones before joining Rydon Construction in 1984 as a Senior Surveyor and progressing to Managing Surveyor in 1990. Richard transferred to his current role in Rydon Maintenance in 1999. His specific responsibilities include providing a commercial management overview of all tendering and project and contractual obligations. Richard holds a B Sc in Building Economics and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Anne qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995 whilst training with a top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants, where she gained experience in the property market whilst seconded to a FTSE listed development and investment company.She joined Rydon that year as a Financial Accountant and, since then, has worked in a variety of finance roles at both Group and operating company level. In January 2006 Anne was appointed to Finance Director of Rydon Homes and then in September 2011 she was appointed to her current role as Finance Director of Rydon Maintenance.
Anne is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
