Hanham Hall is part of the Avon and Wilts Mental Health Partnerships (AWMHP) scheme. The project is a 15 bedroom rehabilitation unit, including facilities to enable patients to prepare themselves for independent living, and rooms for consultation with occupational therapists and other mental health professionals.
The building is of traditional construction, and has been designed to replicate a domestic environment to assist with patients rehabilitation. The new building is located adjacent to a Grade 2 listed property and consequently the façade treatment was particularly sensitive
