Partners in a range of funding initiatives

As leaders in the field of Mental Health and Community PFI Projects, since PFI was first introduced to the NHS in the 1990s, Ryhurst has completed 12 individual PFI projects and has gained a reputation for professionalism, pragmatism and performance. We are actively working partners on traditional PPP projects, sharing the risks and rewards of a variety of schemes from stand-alone procurements to strategic partnerships such as community ventures.

When the Government announced the NHS LIFT initiative in 2000, we were quick to understand how our experience and expertise aligned with the requirements of a successful LIFT initiative and, to date, we have developed six community health centres across two NHS LIFT schemes and provide ongoing operational management and facilities management services on behalf of the LIFT companies.

Most recently, we have pre-empted the Government's proposed SED initiative aimed at offering Primary Care Trusts an alternative means of funding their estate requirements. Our own Service Targeted Estate Partnership (STEP) joint venture model, which we developed in 2008, creates a highly flexible commercial partnership between Ryhurst and the PCT and is already attracting considerable interest from a variety of Trusts.
