Live Train Case Study

Live Train is the free 14-week programme, which provides local unemployed people with the trade skills and experience they need to get work in our industry.

The first part of the bespoke training course is carried out in a training workshop at Anchor House in Canning Town. The second part is site-based, and is a core feature of the programme, which provides trainees a first-hand experience of what it is like to work in the industry.

All of the trainees in the group helped to play an important role in refurbishing one of the flats on a live Rydon project at the Ashmole Estate in Lambeth, the same estate where the group lived on or near by.
