One of Rydon’s subcontractor partners, SDP Solutions, has been shortlisted for a Construction News Specialists Award for Training Excellence through its employment programme Live Train.

Live Train was launched in 2011 as an intensive 14-week course to provide local people with the skills and the opportunities to get work in construction and maintenance.

Rydon has been supporting Live Train by hosting training on their sites as well as providing funding for the scheme. The third programme is currently underway at the Ashmole Estate refurbishment for Metropolitan in Lambeth where the trainees are helping to refurbish a void property.
