The Orchard Café, located on Singapore Road, recently opened its doors and has been a great addition to community at the redevelopment of the former Green Man Lane estate, undergoing a transformation by Rydon and A2Dominion, offering a local gathering place, coffee shop and eatery.

The new Café launched with a busy first weekend due to its involvement in the first ever Borough of Ealing Art Trail (BEAT). Showcasing 164 artists across 54 venues throughout Ealing the aim of BEAT is to build links between themselves and the community as well as identify the borough of Ealing as a creative and artistic centre. The Orchard Café exhibited artworks from a range of artistic media including sculpture, painting and photography in September.

The Orchard Café offers a bistro-style menu and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is all homemade and you can expect delicious full English breakfasts, gourmet sandwiches made with homemade baked bread and soups.

Dinner is available at the café during live events on Saturdays and once a month the chef will provide a taster menu comprising five or seven courses.

The regeneration of Green Man Lane is a nine year, five phase project replacing 464 flats with a mix of 770 one to four bedroom homes, each with generous living spaces.

The project also brings communal facilities including a new school, eco-friendly energy centre, public parks, play areas and landscaped piazzas.

Work to Phase 2 is currently underway, delivering 187 new private sale and affordable homes, including over 20 homes for wheelchair users.
