The first residential block has been completed and residents have started moving into Mettle & Poise at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Hackney, and is a significant milestone for the project.

The new residential block, which retained two of the existing façades, contains 24 luxury apartments including mezzanine studios, two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom penthouses and three-bedroom maisonettes.

Representing the first of 188 new homes, this regeneration project is being delivered by Rydon in partnership with Family Mosaic and the Greater London Authority. The Hackney Road building formed a key feature of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for Children and originally dates back to 1886.

As well as the historic landmark exterior, these homes benefit from high floor to ceiling heights and a modern internal specification, suited to the upcoming area.
