Rydon has appointed Andrew Goldman as Group Marketing and Technology Director, aligning these two key disciplines to underpin the overall strategy of the business and to help shape its continued success in construction, development, maintenance and management.

Andrew’s key focus will be to strengthen Rydon’s competitive advantage in its core markets, develop greater organisational resilience as well as progress a growth strategy that embraces future innovation.

Prior to joining Rydon, Andrew had an extensive marketing career both in the UK and overseas, working primarily with large, multi-national technology businesses including IBM, Philips and Nokia.

For the past two and a half years he had been Managing Director of Cohn & Wolfe, part of WPP and a leading global public relations company.

Bob Bond, CEO of Rydon Group, commented: “Andrew brings a clear understanding of how these two important elements of our business can work together for the mutual benefit and competitive advantage of the business. Joining Rydon and the Group Board, his extensive experience in these fields will be valuable in the next stages of Rydon’s development.”

Andrew Goldman added: “It is a fantastic opportunity to join Rydon Group at a time when the business continues to see significant growth and success across its four divisions. Achieving a close interlock between brand and technology will be core to the role. By combining the two, we can ensure robust business processes which are vital to reputation value in a competitive marketplace. I am excited to align my track records in marketing and technology, at Board level, to help shape and deliver the Rydon Group strategic vision.”
