Rydon has once again delivered 'Performance Beyond Compliance' at two of its major projects from the Considerate Constructors Scheme, the initiative that works to help improve the image of the construction industry.

The regeneration projects at Green Man Lane, West Ealing and Durand, Carlshalton received excellent scores of 37 and 36.5 out of 40 during recent site audits carried out by the Scheme Monitors.

Construction sites are each measured against a set of eight criteria including considerate, environment, appearance, good neighbour, respectful, safety, responsible and accountable. Rydon's commitment to the Scheme has seen many of its developments placed within amongst the top tier of considerate building sites in the country this year.

Commenting on the Green Man Lane scheme, Scheme Monitor Brian Sweeney said "This is an exemplary site, specifically the provision of an internet cafe for residents and the material handed out to children during the safety week. Thank you to all of the team I met for the courtesy shown during my visit, it was a pleasure to visit this site."

Scheme Monitor, Malcolm Vicars, on visiting the Durand scheme added "The site projects a very good professional image and the relationships established with stakeholders are extremely good."
