September 2015
The recently launched Best Performing Site initiative by Rydon Construction in the South West has been developed as a quarterly achievement to recognise the efforts of the project teams who take pride in and maintain site presentation to a high quality.
The award has been designed to complement the high standards that are already being reached by Rydon with the Considerate Constructors Scheme, including the record score of 43/50 set by the team at Mangotsfield Primary School and Queen Elizabeth Hospital earlier this year.
Pictured are the winners of the Q1 2015 award, Geoff Wyatt and Mike Casey (left and centre), with their certificate presented by Paul Barber.
Winners of the Rydon Best Performing Sites so far include:
Each site is independently marked by The Safety Team according to a set of 18 different criteria, including External Presentation, Signage, Materials Storage and Community Newsletters.
The highest scores achievable are Gold (exceptional presentation & initiatives) followed by Silver (above expectations).
Winners of the quarterly award are each awarded a certificate following their site visit and a gift voucher.
Presentation has a vital role to play in ensuring our sites remain a safe, healthy and environmentally aware place for our staff and subcontractors to work and as a good corporate resident that the local community to live.
