Rydon team sets new Considerate Constructors Scheme record

The Rydon team on phase 3 at Packington Estate are celebrating their success in securing Rydon’s highest ever score in the Considerate Constructors Scheme. They achieved a truly impressive 43 out of 50 just beating the 42 points recently achieved by the team at Nelson Hospital.
The scheme gives scores out of 10 in five different performance areas, and Packington Phase 3 managed two ‘excellent’ (8/10) scores and a truly impressive three ‘Exceptional’ (9/10) scores. In his report, the CCS monitor highlighted the excellent engagement with the community and his positive conversation with the young person taken on for work experience from The Prince’s Trust’s Get Into Construction programme recently completed on the scheme.
He also praised the new hoardings and hard surfaces which he described as ‘really impressive’, as well as the excellent safe systems in place and the general information and training made available to both the workforce and the local neighbours.
With Nelson Hospital having recently scored 42 points this is a clear indication that Rydon is setting new and impressive standards in our work.
