Rydon wins multiple awards for Packington scheme

The regeneration of Packington in Islington has been handed two of the top accolades at the 2013 National Housing Awards.
The project, which is being delivered in a partnership between Rydon and The Hyde Group, secured the coveted prizes for ‘Best Regeneration Project’ and ‘Best Large Development’ at the ceremony held in London.
Remarking on the achievements of Packington’s regeneration, the judges commented:
Best Large Development: "Very well conceived design, varying from modern new build to restoration of a Georgian square with strong partnership working".
Best Regeneration Project: "Well-thought-out masterplan delivering high quality homes and comprehensive community outcomes".
The National Housing Awards provide a platform to promote and raise the profile of the affordable housing sector across England. It showcases innovation and good practice, highlighting the high standards of development offered to those in housing need.
