Rydon Maintenance has won the accolade of the Most Considerate Company in the whole country; the top award at the Considerate Constructors Scheme National Company Awards, held on Friday 11 November 2016.

The winning teams provide repairs and maintenance services to thousands of homes and healthcare facilities across the nation.  Five Rydon registrations were chosen by the awards panel to have implemented the highest standards of consideration towards the appearance of the industry, local community, safety, environment and workforce welfare.

Rydon are very proud to have received not only the top award of Most Considerate Company, but also to have secured five more awards, demonstrating the exceptionally high standard Rydon are achieving across our Maintenance business:

  • Islington PFI – Gold
  • Canning Town & Brockley PFI - Silver
  • Myatts Field & Chalcots PFI – Silver
  • Sussex – Silver
  • Healthcare – Bronze

Jeff Henton, Managing Director of Rydon Maintenance, commented: “Rydon first secured the Most Considerate Company title back in 2011. To win this a second time alongside several other achievements is a clear demonstration of the consistent high quality in the team’s work and drive to continuously improve.”

“Rydon has been a strong advocate of the scheme since it started and the positive impact it has had on our industry. We look forward to continuing our efforts to maintain better quality living environments for our residents and the local community.”

An independent panel reviews nearly 1000 registered companies each year based on their performance against the Code of Considerate Practice, with only the highest performing being selected to receive a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Most Considerate Company Award.

Rydon Maintenance has a long-standing association with the Considerate Constructors Scheme, and is unique in being the founder member of their Company Registration and now the first organisation to win Most Considerate Company twice – we proudly display the registration number ‘C001’ on vehicles in our commercial fleet.
