Rydon has won a national award for its considerate approach to the regeneration of a large estate that is creating over 500 new homes in Carshalton, Sutton.
Durand Close was awarded a Bronze Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Award for Rydon’s work on the £83m redevelopment, which is being delivered across four phases over a period of eight years.
The Scheme is an independently run and assessed organisation that tracks construction sites in their standards of consideration towards their neighbours, their workforce, the general public and the environment.
The award follows the most recent site monitor visit in which the project scored an impressive 40 points, placing it firmly within the ‘Excellent’ tier of construction sites in the UK
