L&Q awarded Rydon a £5m contract to build a residential scheme in Beckenham town centre.
There are a total of 44 new homes, comprising 9 one-bedroom, 32 two-bedroom and 3 three-bedroom apartments. They have been built across three four-storey blocks on a derelict site behind the High Street.
The development features undercroft parking, cycle storage, direct access to the High Street as well as communal landscaped areas. Properties at ground floor level have access to private outdoor space.
Distinctive external features include glazed bricks and zinc cladding. Solar panels have been fitted to each of the roofs, helping the buildings reach the environmental Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
