Rydon was appointed to a design and build scheme for the provision of 25 sheltered housing units within two two-storey blocks.
The south block comprised new-build timber frame, with the north block involving a large element of refurbishment works to convert the existing house, plus two new-build traditional construction wings on each side.
The north block comprised a large lounge and dining area with a fully operational catering kitchen and guest rooms. The south block has several communal rooms, including laundry, hair salon and an assisted bathroom. The accommodation includes en-suite facilities and fully fitted kitchens with appliances.
A lift was also incorporated in each block, enabling easy access for the residents.
