This new Performing Arts Centre for Bristol Grammar School has been designed to improve and develop the School’s facilities for the Performing Arts.

The project features a new, large auditorium, dance studio, rehearsal rooms, recording studios and links into the School’s existing Elton Road Bloc where Rydon has refurbished the existing Mackay theatre.

The project is located in the midst of the school campus with limited access and the build has been carefully scheduled around the school terms to cause minimum disturbance.

The building is clad in distinctive bronze & copper cladding.

Dance, drama and music already form an important part of the curriculum at Bristol Grammar School. With the new Performing Arts Centre, including the auditorium, it will offer further development opportunities and a new venue to deliver high quality productions.
