Bob has over 40 years' experience in the construction, development and support services industry. He took up his current position as Group Chief Executive in January 2006 and also chairs Rydon’s Charitable Trust which makes regular donations to several good causes such as CRASH, a charity which assists homeless and hospice charities with construction related projects, with which Rydon has had a close association since 2013. Bob is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.

As Non-Executive Chairman, Nick provides experienced counsel and strategic advice to the Rydon Group Board. Nick has spent his entire career working in the mid-market corporate arena, in a range of market sectors, and brings over 25 years experience. Until 2013, he was a board and founding member of KPMG Corporate Finance, first joining KPMG in 1982. Nick co-founded Quercus, a leading corporate finance advisor, and is currently the firm’s Chairman. He holds a degree in Economics from Warwick University.

Mark joined Rydon as Construction Director in November 1999. He started his career as Planning Engineer at a contracting company, progressing over time through to construction management and onto the position of Construction Director at a major PLC developer. Mark has led the regeneration business stream at Rydon and has also led on a number of initiatives linked to sustainability and employment for young people. Mark was promoted to the position of Managing Director and joined the Group Board in October 2010.

Trained as a QS, Ben has over 30 years’ experience in the industry spanning new build, refurbishment and reactive maintenance with leading industry organisations. Ben joined Rydon in October 2014 as Director of Non-PFI Housing. In 2015, Ben took Director responsibility for all Housing Maintenance contracts and in April 2021 he became Managing Director for Rydon Maintenance Limited, as well as being appointed to the Group Board.

Warwick joined the land department at Rydon Homes in 1986 and gained experience purchasing residential development opportunities in the home counties and the Greater London Boroughs. He progressed through the Rydon management organisation within the land department and became Director of Current Land in 2007. Warwick was promoted to the position of Managing Director of Rydon Homes and joined the Group Board in May 2013.

Aileen is Group Legal Director and leads the Legal & Insurance, and Safety Health & Environment departments. As an integral part of project commercial management, she and her team are actively involved in project funding and setting up public sector joint ventures, ensuring that projects meet all parties' requirements and are effectively delivered.  Aileen was appointed to the board in October 2011. Aileen has an LLB Hons and qualified as a solicitor in 1997.

Lisa was appointed as Group Human Resources Director in February 2016 and brings a wealth of senior level experience to the Board. Before joining Rydon, Lisa was a board member of UPP Group and has also been a member of the executive team at Wates Construction. She has spent more than 15 years working across a variety of sectors including construction, logistics, manufacturing and retail and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Prior to joining Rydon, Andrew had an extensive marketing career both in the UK and overseas, working primarily with large, multi-national technology businesses including IBM, Philips and Nokia.  He was also based in Jakarta for two and a half years where he was Managing Director of Cohn & Wolfe Indonesia, part of the WPP Group. His role at Rydon covers Marketing & Technology with a focus on aligning these two important disciplines in helping to shape and deliver the Group strategic vision. Andrew has a BA in American History from Sussex University.  He joined Rydon and the Group Board in May 2016.

Mark joined Rydon in February 2014 as Finance and Commercial Director for Rydon Maintenance and was promoted to Group Finance Director in October 2016. Initially working in construction with house builders Charles Church and Berkeley he also holds property maintenance experience with Serco. Mark has worked in the construction related sectors of lifts and escalators, as FD of Kone UK, and electronic security with Stanley Black & Decker as European Operations FD. Mark has an economics degree and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Paul has a total of 14 years’ experience of residential development having previously worked for a major Surrey-based developer. Prior to that, he spent six years in private and local government architectural practices in both London the South East. He joined Rydon in 2002 as a senior designer working on a wide range of developments and properties. He was promoted to his current role of Director of Design and Planning in May 2014.  

Paul graduated with honours in Architecture from London Southbank University in 1995 and undertook Postgraduate studies in Architecture at the University of Brighton in 1998-99.

Kevin is a Chartered Town Planner with over 25 years’ experience in town planning, land acquisition and residential development. Having started his career with Surrey County Council, Kevin then worked at Woking Borough Council and Mid Sussex District Council before moving to the private sector. Kevin has worked for a number of the leading house builders on award winning developments throughout the South East of England, ranging from small bespoke developments to large urban extensions. He joined Rydon Homes as Land Director in January 2015.

Anne joined Rydon in 1995, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and gaining experience with a PLC property investment & development company. She has 25 years finance experience in the construction and development industry. At Rydon, Anne has held senior finance roles at Group level and across the operating companies. Her areas of expertise include tax, consolidation and financial accounting standards. Anne returned to the board of Rydon Homes in February 2017 and continues to provide advice to the wider Group finance team.

Barrie joined Rydon Maintenance in August 2006 to manage the Healthcare business. He joined us with a wealth of experience built up in the maintenance industry over the past 30 years. He started his career as an electrician and has diversified along the way and worked in most disciplines associated with hard facilities management.

Penny leads the Performance Team, Business Systems Team and is also responsible for the Dartford Contact Centre. She has built an excellent reputation for her work in monitoring contract performance, identifying trends and working with operations to resolve problems. Penny has a proven track record of delivering improved business performance and has instilled the same passion for performance into her teams. Penny has a BA of Laws from the University of Westminster and joined Rydon in December 2011.

Alan was appointed in October 2016 and is responsible for the financial management of Rydon Construction. He joined Rydon from the housing sector where he held senior roles at Abbeyfield and Network Homes. Alan holds a long and distinguished finance career with experience in a range of sectors including property, facilities, media distribution and logistics. He is a CIMA qualified Chartered Management Accountant.
