Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bath, Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire. It also provide specialist services extending throughout the south west.
Rydon provides a range of contracted Hard FM services to the Trust. These include Planned Preventative Maintenance and a comprehensive reactive maintenance service to encompass multi-site Estates Maintenance, Energy & Utilities Management, Helpdesk (24/7), Grounds & Gardens Maintenance, Pest Control, Waste Management and Minor Works.
The contract covers 12 mental health inpatient and day-patient properties across 6 locations in the south-west , these include Medium Secure facilities. As an overview, buildings include an 80-bed facility plus a female intensive care unit, special therapy rooms, music room, fully equipped gymnasium and a 31-bed Low-Secure Unit incorporating therapy areas and administration. Additionally, there are five-sites encompassing in-patient assessment and rehabilitation facilities for adults.
