ALDERSHOT
A greenfield site on the outskirts of Aldershot where a bowl in the landscape was created to house new buildings and dog training areas to present visibility from nearby public amenity space.
The 38-week project saw construction of new offices, classrooms, storage, a veterinary clinic, theatres, animal welfare and support areas.
Plant and network equipment rooms were located centrally with an external air and a ground source heat pump. A kennel block comprising 45 individual kennels with exercise areas was also constructed.
The unit is for 101 Military Working Dogs Support Unit and The Veterinary Troop Puckridge Aldershot.
