Rydon was selected to deliver a new community centre at Tisbury, creating a hub for the local community. The scheme forms part of Wiltshire County Council’s ambition to deliver a series of Community Campuses that will provide a range of services tailored to local needs.
The services offered within a community campus depend on the requirements of the local area and can range from community and clinical space, leisure facilities, catering facilities and youth services alongside specialist services such as housing, revenues and benefits.
On the back of the success of the Salisbury Five Rivers Campus, Rydon was awarded this further scheme in Tisbury Wiltshire.
This new community campus facility at Tisbury is being procured through a design and build contract, which comprises a blend of refurbishment works to existing but redundant school buildings and a new build extension comprising a new sports hall and nursery.
The completed scheme will serve communities throughout the Nadder Valley and will offer the following new facilities:

Larger sports hall and fitness suite
A library
Remodelled and updated main events hall
Facilities for training and business support
Facilities for the police
New pre-school accommodation
Children's centre
Meeting rooms
Activity spaces for young people
